Saturn

These a a mixture of some photos taken with just a DSLR camera on a tripod,
and some with a dedicated astro-imager attached direct to the telescope;
some of those are single shots, others are taken as video then "stacked" on my PC,
i.e. the best frames are merged together to create one single image.

My first decent photo of Saturn using just a camera, and still the best! [May 2014]
Pentax K5 on a tripod, ISO 800 at 125th sec, f/6-3 using the Sigma 50-500mm lens at 450mm (675mm equivalent)

My first decent image of Saturn using a dedicated imager - single frame with a SPC900 [June 2014]

Slightly larger image using the SPC900 [July 2014]

Single frame image using the NextImage Burst with the Celestron 9.25" SCT (f/10, 2350mm) [June 2015]

Stacked image using the NextImage Burst with the Celestron 9.25" SCT (f/10, 2350mm) the same night [June 2015]

Another stacked image the same night, trying with a larger image size [June 2015]
