A Bit About The Festival

The 17th annual Cambridge Rock Festival moved to the Arena and Events Centre in Peterborough (previously the Showground). It featured one large stage in the huge Pavillion, with a second stage in a former cattle pen and third in a marquee. The fans had a great time with some amazingly good bands, some better known than others, though the organisers had various issues with the site operator.

Once again there were two late-night astronomy lectures as well as 68 classic roc k, prog, blues and folk bands! Perhaps most importantly of all the CRF, which is run by volunteers, provides the friendliest atmosphere you could hope for.

Photos of many of the bands are included here and some pages also have video links. - The inevitable clashes, other duties (and wanting to watch some of them!) made photographing them all impossible!

Note: no photos of the 16th annual festival here because it was held virtually, online! Still over four days, and two stages, with bands 'playing' slots just as in a real festival. The content was taken from previous CRF events, all in full HD or using professionally filmed content.
