The 11th annual Cambridge Rock Festival, held once again under cover at Haggis Farm.
The C.R.F. had previously been known as the Rockinbeerfest, featuring three stages, a fantastic line-up of almost 100 classic rock, progressive rock and blues and acoustic acts, a real-ale bar of 80+ different brews, and perhaps most importantly of all the friendliest atmosphere you could hope for.
The year saw even greater investment in sound retention measures with the introduction of more high-tech acoustic wadding and barriers to further help reduce any impact on the neighbours and additional plastic roadway was brought in to counter the impact of the predicted storms.
The site was tested to the extreme due to very adverse weather conditions on Friday and Sunday, which saw the nearby A14 and a local hotel get flooded (resulting in evacuation), whilst the temporary CRF structures survived and the festival kept rocking!
All main and second stage bands are shown except The Abstracts (apologies to them - this was due to taking aerial photos of the site at the time!).
Only a random selection of Acoustic stage bands are shown here.
