Mr So And So formed way back in 1989 and over the next eight years released four albums. Due to financial pressures and work commitments, they disbanded in 2000 but reformed almost by chance in 2005 with three original members (Shaun McGowan (bass/vocals), Dave Foster (guitar) and Charlotte Evans (vocals).

New albums were eventually released in 2009 and again in 2013 with keyboard player Andy Rigler on board and achieved good sales despite very little publicity. However after their appearance at the 2014 Cambridge Rock Festival, drummer Stuart Browne decided to retire, at least for a while, and the band went into hibernation once again with Dave Foster joining Panic Room.
