The Larry Miller Band has been around since the very early eighties, performing in
pubs and clubs before moving on to bigger things but with Larry never quite making
the breakthrough he deserves. Indeed, if you've never seen him, you're missing one
of the best and most dynamic blues guitarists around.
By 2012 there were seven albums available on CD, but if you're lucky you might find
some earlier releases including the much sought-after 'Right Chaps!' on vinyl. Earlier
incarnations of his band have included Scott Hunter and Neil Sadler of the The UK
Blues Project and the legendary Moonwalkers, and more recently another Reading man,
Simon Baker on drums, Derek White on bass and Ian Salisbury, keyboards - the latter
two borrowed from Storm Warning.
Larry suffered a stroke in August 2015 but is slowly recovering.
