Originally formed way, way back in 1962, the classic line-up of The Groundhogs featured
Tony McPhee (guitar/vocals), Pete Cruikshank (bass) and Ken Pustelnik (drums) and
released three seminal albums in 1970, 71 and 72. Ken then left the band although
they continued (and disbanded) with various members through to the new century!
Ken formed and led numerous bands, collaborating with members of bands as diverse
as Yes, Gong, King Crimson and Hawkwind. He now has a new version of The Groundhogs
under his own name, featuring Chris D'Avoine (guitar/vocals), Sol Latif (guitar) and
Latch Manghat (bass), playing much of the classic early material.
