It's hard to know what to say about John Otway... Lots of people love him - some don't! Expect the unexpected if you've never seen him, expect the same again if you have? But it's always fun and musically perfectly accomplished.

He shot to fame with Wild Willy Barret (with whom he occasionally still tours) and they had a hit single 'Really free' in 1977 - then returned with the follow-up hit 'Bunsen Burner' in 2002. A film was released in 2012, which incorporate the 7th most popular lyrics ever written. Just go and see him! Better still, go and see the John Otway Big Band, featuring Richard Holgarth (Eddie and the Hotrods) and Murray Torkildsen!
