One of the original 'Frantic Four' members of one of rock's biggest acts in the world - Status Quo - John Coghlan left in 1981 after a string of hit albums and singles and twenty years playing drums in the band. For a while he toured with his own band John Coghlan's Diesel but more recently formed John Coghlan's Quo (JCQ).

JCQ play Quo music - not just the hits - eminating from his time in the band utilising the services of three members of highly respected Reading rock band Predatur - Baz Barry (guitar/vocals), Mick Hughes (guitar/backing vocals) and Pete Knight (bass). Predatur formed in the late 1970s and have toured extensively in the UK and Europe, with two albums of their own.
