Ian Anderson

A Bit About The Band

Many musicians get labelled as legendary - some truly are and Ian Anderson is one of them. With an early love of blues, he formed what became Jethro Tull in 1968 and with his trademark one-legged flute playing created an image that no-one has since forgotten! But that somewhat misses the point that the music, too, hit points that no-one else had done before, and some would say none have since. J

Jethro Tull came and went a few times, toured the world and released 30+ albums but these days he tours in his own name with a band that includes Florian Ophale (guitars), Scott Hammond (drums), David Goodier (bass) and John O'Hara (keyboards).
