Heather formed her own band in 2011, but is probably best known for her 13 year tenure
as lead vocalist for Mostly Autumn. The recording and touring bands are evolving,
having featured Dave Kilminster and Steve Vantsis, as well as Chris Johnson and Alex
Cromarty. In 2012, guitar duties were taken over by Simon Snaize, with Stu Fletcher
of fellow York-based band We Could Be Astronauts taking over on bass. Subsequent line-ups
have included Martin Ledger on bass and the 'Incredible String Blonde' Sarah Dean
on harp.
Heather has toured and worked with bands as diverse as Shed Seven, Uriah Heep, Jethro
Tull and Arjen Lacassen, and created artwork for Blackmore's Night. She has also released
an album with former Mostly Autumn member Angela Gordon, under the name Odin Dragonfly.
