Although formed in 1998 in Austria, it took ten years for cornerstone to land a record deal and release their first album. Formed around brothers Steve and Michael Wachelhofer, they have had a number of vocalists and drummers, with Patricia Hillinger and Mike Pawlowitsch respectively who recorded their third album, later replaced by Alina Peter and Christoph Karas.
